Yesterday, 17th September, BOW terminal performed a RoRo operation of base part of testframe ex Muller pontoon 10033-1 onto terminal. The frame (weight app 1.500 tons) will be modified by Volker Staal and Funderingen for testing parts of the capabilities of the world largest decommissioning vessel 'Pieter Schelte', measuring 382 meters long and 124 meters wide and suited for lifting of structures weighing up to 48.000 tons, owned by Allseas. After modification of frame, frame will have a height of 60 meters and will be installed with 4 suction anchors into the sea.
