Decommissioning and Removal

Decommissioning of oil and gas assets is one of the most significant and challenging projects in the offshore industry. Over the next decade a growing number of oil and gas installations will be taken out of service and decommissioned.
BOW Terminal decommissioning services covers planning and engineering, risk and safety management and the environment. Based on our environmental know-how and many years of experience, we offer a full range of multidisciplinary decommissioning services. Equipment as cranes, SPMT's and barges can be put to safely detach and remove parts.

Locations

BOW Terminal, is located on two locations in the North Sea, ideally situated to receive the oil and gas installations in these areas which will be taken out of service over the next years. Within our terminals we have a dedicated area which is allocated only for decommissioning services. This is an important condition to allow vessel and barge owners to deliver the installation at their preferred time frame.

Certification

Bow Terminal is ISO 14001 certified and has a permit to perform activities such as flame cutting, grinding and forging on our site. However the complete process of decommissioning and removal is not yet included in our scope of certification, BOW Terminal has teamed up with an experienced demolition partner to offer the best possible solution regarding decommissioning services.
